Got-R-Dunn Bar and Grill copes with break in
The Got-R-Dunn Bar and Grill in Tenstrike hasn't had very good luck since opening in February.
On May 6, the bar sustained minor damages from a fire, however, the attached living quarters for owner Renee Dunn were completely destroyed.
Now, just recently on July 19, the bar experienced a break-in resulting in the loss of $3,000-$4,000 worth of liquor.
"We left the bar around 8 p.m. Monday night," Dunn recalled. "When we came in the next morning, we found the side door kicked to shreds and a huge portion of our liquor inventory gone."
She said that cash is never left overnight, however, the keys for the cash register were also taken.
"We called the Beltrami County Sheriff's Department and the insurance company right away," she said.
Dunn added that despite bad luck, the bar and grill has been seeing steady business and is looking forward to the future.
"We replaced the door and did what we could. We're getting a new register. We just get over it and move on," Dunn said.
