Good Samaritan repairs window

BAGLEY – Bret Schmidt, owner of Crossroads Auto Glass, repaired a window that was broken by a burglar at the Bagley Senior Citizen Center.

He made the repair at no cost. News of the necessary repair was brought to his attention by his friend Chris Braaten, son of Ken and Sharon Braaten, who are active volunteers at the Senior Center.Bret Schmidt takes a break from his repair work. Senior Center Directors Sharon Braaten and Ruth LaFontaine are also shown.

Schmidt has worked in the glass business for 23 years and serves an area roughly covering a 100-mile radius of Bemidji.

Senior Center community members are very grateful for his charitable act.
