Golf courses lament money lost to bad weather
ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) — Add golf course owners to the list of Minnesotans irked by the spring that's never showed up.
The snow, rain and sleet that has dragged well into April means money lost for golf courses. Tim Holthaus, who owns River Oaks Golf Club in Cold Spring, says courses can't make up the money they've lost due to the late opening.
