Girls JV harriers top Moorhead field

The Bemidji JV girls cross-country team took the title at Monday's Moorhead Invitational.

Laura Edwards won the individual race in 17:37.59. Also in the top-10 were Dani Gronhovd in fifth, Kayla Olson in sixth, Amber Peterson in seventh, Hannah Dressen in ninth and Mikayla Connel in 10th.

In the girls junior high race, Bemidji's lone runner was Annika Moen who was 43rd.

The boys JV was third in an eight-team field with 60 points. Leading Bemidji were Matt Glenn in eighth, Scott Hulsebus in ninth, Trent Buckanaga in 12th, Tyler Guest in 15th, Tony Sagedahl in 16th and Tanner Asper in 18th.

Bemidji won the boys junior high meet with 25 points. Thomas Revering was the overall winner and Sam Carlson was second. Seth Neubeck placed fourth, Evan White sixth and Nick Swanson 12th.
