Goals have been difficult to come by for the Bemidji girls hockey team this winter as the Lumberjacks scored 10 goals in their first eight games.
Friday night against Holy Angels, however, BHS found the range and the result was a 10-0 demolition of the Stars at The Sanford Center.
Becca Gregg notched four of the tallies, three of them coming in the second period when Bemidji expanded a 2-0 lead to a convincing 7-0 advantage.
The Lumberjacks scored in a variety of fashions and dominated the slot in front of the Holy Angels net.
"I like seeing those garbage goals," said Bemidji coach Matt Menne. "Becca had at least two goals that came from being in the right place at the right time."
Friday's contest originally was scheduled for the rink in Nymore but a problem with the cooling system forced a change of venue. Judging by the outcome, the Lumberjacks were in favor of the switch.
Bemidji will return to The Sanford Center tonight when it hosts Moorhead at 7 p.m.
