GIRLS BASKETBALL: Prowlers too much for Bemidji; Jacks fall 65-43

THIEF RIVER FALLS – Jessa Lusby and Kelsey Olson each scored 10 points but Thief River Falls countered with five players in double figures and that balance led the Prowlers to a 65-43 win Tuesday on the winner’s court.

The home team (13-1) bolted to a 42-21 lead at the break and the Lumberjacks (3-10) never caught up.

Jess Yost added eight points for Bemidji which travels to Duluth East on Thursday.
