Connie and Rich Helfenstein of Leonard announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Gilles, to Scott Jacobs, son of Dan and LuAnne Jacobs of Rochester, Minn. Amanda is also the daughter of the late Scott Gilles of Prescott, Wis.

Amanda is a store administrator for Frontier Ag and Turf in Hastings, Minn. Scott is a pipefitter for the Local 539 of Minneapolis.
The couple is planning a June 23 wedding in River Falls, Wis.
