Gary V. Rousslang, 56
Gary V. Rousslang, 56, of Amarillo, TX, formerly of Verndale, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007 in Texas.
He was born Jan. 15, 1951 to Anthony "Tony" and Francella "Fran" (Vornbrock) Rousslang Sr. in Wadena. He attended St. Ann's Catholic School and graduated from Wadena High School in 1969.
He married Konnie Peterson in 1974 at St. John Lutheran Church in Wadena.
He married Denise Enberg in 1987 at the Assembly of God Church in Verndale. He was a recent graduate of Amarillo Community College. He lived in Verndale, Corpus Christi, TX and Amarillo. He worked at AmeriPride as a plant production manager. He served in the Navy and was a member of the Army National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Denise; sons, Paul (April) Enberg of Verndale, Jaron Enberg of Houston, TX, Scott Rousslang of Corpus Christi and Joshua Rousslang of Big Lake; three daughters, Sherri (Dean) Sonmor of Dalton, JoNeen (Magnus) Ohlaher of Los Angeles and Shae (Jim) Gaulhe of Hillman; brothers, Joe (Dianne) of Verndale, David (Barb) and Tony (Mary) Jr., both of Wadena; sisters, Gloria (Robert) Toews of Staples and Kathy (Steve) Richter of Verndale; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Konnie in 1986; and sister, Shirley Worden.
Funeral: Tuesday, Sept. 18 at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Verndale with Rev. Jill Holm officiating.
Honorary casketbearers: His nieces and nephews.
Active casketbearers: Paul and Jaron Enberg, Scott, John and Joshua Rousslang and Brian Shively.
Interment: Greenlawn Cemetery in Verndale.
Military honors were provided by D 2-136 CAB Minnesota National Guard of Wadena.
