Gannon - Olson

Robert and Cindy Gannon, formerly of Blackduck, announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Jo Gannon, to James (Jim) Olson III. James is the son of Lisa and Marvin (Marv) Rassel and the late James Olson II.

Cindy, a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, is a communications specialist for Mid-Sioux Opportunities in Remson, Iowa. Robert, a graduate of Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn High School, is crew supervisor for Olson Construction in Marcus, Iowa.

The couple plans to wed July 14 at Historic Arnold's Park in Arnold's Park, Iowa. The Rev. Howard Soel, uncle of Cindy, will officiate.

The couple will reside in Marcus, Iowa.
