Joe Gaarsland, son of John and Carolyn Wickner of Bemidji, and Laura Prairie, daughter of Victoria Prairie and John and Bonnie Prairie of Willmar, Minn., announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The couple will be married at 4 p.m. June 13 at the Evangelical Free Church in Blackduck. A reception and dance will follow at the American Legion in Blackduck.
