Fundraiser set for Laporte kid fishing event

LAPORTE - A chicken dinner and silent auction fundraiser will be held noon to 2:30 p.m. April 22 in the Laporte School commons area.

This free-will-donation event is a fundraiser for the Laporte Area Take A Kid Fishing event, set for early June.

Silent auction items will be available for bids throughout the meal. The highest bidders will be identified at the end of the meal. Information for those wishing to participate in the Take A Kid Fishing event will be available at the fundraiser.
