Friends of Sanford Health supports Sanford Health Foundation project

BEMIDJI – Friends of Sanford Health recently donated $100,000 to the Sanford Health Foundation of Northern Minnesota project “Together. For Life.”
The donation supports the advanced cardiology program and da Vinci robotics surgical capabilities at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center, ensuring that the care that patients would otherwise have to go elsewhere to find it available in Bemidji.
The total cost of these improvements is estimated at $5 million. The Sanford Health Foundation of Northern Minnesota is seeking $1.5 million in the form of community philanthropy. Businesses and organizations are invited to partner with the Foundation in this campaign to not just support a new service or technology, but also help take care of people in the community.
