Former Bemidji State hockey player Read named to NHL All-Star roster

Former Bemidji State hockey player Matt Read was one of 12 rookies named to the National Hockey League All-Star roster Thursday.

Read will be one of four Philadelphia Flyers represented All-Star weekend in Ottawa. The All-Star Skills competition is Jan. 28 and the game is Jan. 29.
