The donation supports room renovations at North Country Regional Hospital. Renovations to 12 rooms at the hospital are one of the seven components of the Excellence in Healthcare package to enhance healthcare services and facilities for the region.

When a patient has to be hospitalized, it is important to be in an environment that nurtures relaxation and comfort, a news release from NCHS stated.

The new patient rooms at the hospital provide a relaxing home-away-from-home environment while the remaining rooms are being renovated.

Other items in the Excellence in Healthcare package are GeneXpert System lab equipment, Bedside Medication Verification, Same Day Surgery TVs, indoor and outdoor healing gardens and spoken menu technology.

To support the project, call the NCHS Foundation at 333-5515.
