First National Bank Bemidji gives $25,000 to NW Indian OIC

The First National Bank of Bemidji Foundation has awarded Northwest Indian OIC of Bemidji a two-year grant totaling $25,000.

The grant funds will be used toward the purchase and renovation of a building that will become the organization's permanent corporate home.

Northwest Indian OIC supports the development of strong families, which helps make the community stronger. Key services include pre-employment skill building, employment placement services, culturally competent prisoner re-entry programs, a community nursing assistant program, and a 21st Century Community Learning Centers after-school program.

Northwest Indian OIC is a nonprofit organization that began in Bemidji 1988.
