BEMIDJI – First National Bank Bemidji Foundation presented its second payment of $7,500 for its grant to the Bemidji Community Food Shelf.

In July, the foundation voted to make a grant of $15,000 over two years to help fund the purchase of the new food shelf site and the revamping of the building at the new location. The food shelf can now serve more families with more efficiency.

First National Bank Bemidji Foundation stated in a news release that it recognizes the important role of the Bemidji Community Food Shelf and is proud to support its efforts to help with emergency food assistance.
