First GreenSteps meeting is Tuesday

The first meeting of MN GreenSteps Cities in Bemidji will be from 3-5 p.m. Tuesday in the conference room at City Hall.

MN GreenSteps is a voluntary state-based framework to help cities become more sustainable. The sustainability committee is holding public meetings this year to engage residents and businesses that are interested helping the city attain its goals.

Last week, the Bemidji City Council unanimously approved a resolution for the city to take part in the program.
