First 2 a.m. application
The Corner Bar in Bemidji has submitted the city's first application for a 2 a.m. bar closing time.
City Attorney Al Felix said the application was received Friday. Generally, it takes roughly five days before the state will issue the permit.
Once the permit is in hand, the Corner Bar, 602 Second St. S.E., will have the option of remaining open until 2 a.m.
