BSU FOOTBALL: Head coach Tesch on 'leave of absence'

Fire hits town where storm knocked out power

ALEXANDRIA, S.D. -- A town already facing its third day without electricity as spring storm pounded the area, had to deal with with a fire early today.

Flames and smoke could be seen in the town east of Mitchell in southeast South Dakota before 6 a.m.

Beyond the challenge of having no electricity, firefighters face a challenge just getting around the city, where more snow fell overnight after two days of ice and snow from a spring storm that is forecast to finally let up today.
