Fire destroys home near Hines; fireworks deemed the cause

The Bemidji Fire Department responded to a call at 11:15 a.m. Saturday from 20795 Gull Lake Road near Tenstrike, the home of Kelly and John Duffy. Twelve firefighters fought the trailer house blaze with two pumpers, three tankers and a pickup. The home was totally destroyed. Fireworks were determined to be the cause of the fire.
