Fire destroys home near Gary, Minn.

GARY, Minn. - Authorities say fire destroyed a rural home about six miles northeast of Gary early Monday.

A family escaped the home unharmed.

The fire was reported at 3:59 a.m. at 3029 390th St., according to the Norman County Sheriff's Office.

Firefighters from Fertile, Gary and Winger responded to the blaze.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
