ST. PAUL – Effective Nov. 19, Minnesota Social Security offices will reduce their hours by 30 minutes each weekday. The new hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All Social Security field offices will also be closed on Nov. 23, the day after Thanksgiving.
While agency employees will continue to work their regular hours, the shorter public hours will allow them to complete face-to-face interviews and process claims work without incurring the cost of overtime.
