Fatal crash in Crow Wing County

A 55-year-old Merrifield, Minn., woman died early Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Crow Wing County.

According to a press release from the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office:

Deborah Pangburn was driving northbound on the 25000 block of County Road 3 in Center Township when she crossed the centerline into the path of a southbound vehicle driven by David Fleischacker, 28, of Fort Ripley. Pangburn's vehicle was struck broadside.

Pangburn was declared dead at the scene; Fleischacker was not injured.

Road conditions were ice-covered and slippery.
