Fargo man in threesome stabbing sentenced

FARGO -- A 33-year-old man accused of stabbing another man while they were both having sex with a woman has pleaded guilty to reduced charges.

Ashley Hunter, 33, was sentenced last month in Cass County District Court to two years of supervised probation and time served after he entered a guilty plea to an amended charge of misdemeanor assault.

Hunter was charged in February with felony aggravated assault, accused in court records of stabbing a friend, Orlando DeWitt.

Court documents allege Hunter and DeWitt got into an argument during the incident, after which Hunter stabbed DeWitt.
