Fargo construction crews find steel street car rail

FARGO (AP) -- Workers reconstructing a Fargo street have uncovered about six blocks of steel rail that historians say once carried electric street cars.

Archivist Mark Peihl calls it a wonderful find.

The street car line went out of business in 1937. It was owned by a subsidiary of Northern States Power Co., now known as Xcel Energy.
