Familiar sights: We made it back to the trail!

Can you even see the trail?! It certainly has gotten a whole lot greener and more colorful in the past two weeks. It never ceases to amaze me how much more calm I feel once I get back into the woods. I mean, there are so many days when I just don't feel like leaving work. I'm tired or stressed, and I convince myself that I should just stay and work through lunch.

But then I remind myself that Laurie is waiting so I reluctantly change into my walking clothes, drive to Laurie's and trudge along until encounter views like this. Click here to read the Trail Mix blog.
