Aircraft and fire crews worked into the evening Sunday to extinguish the blaze, and firefighters continued working Monday to put out hot spots left behind by the fire. The U.S. Forest Service said motorists should use caution in driving in the area and access to Little Ball Club Lake is closed until further notice. Little Ball Club Lake is about 50 miles east of Bemidji.
