Bemidji Area Aglow to meet
BEMIDJI-- Bemidji Area Aglow will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Beltrami Electric Community Room, 4111 Technology Dr. NW.
Craig and LaDonna Smith will speak on "Treasures in Jars of Clay" from 2 Corinthians 4:6-7. Craig is a member of the White Earth Band of Ojibwe and LaDonna is Navajo.

Awana registration at Blackduck Evangelical
BLACKDUCK-- The Blackduck Evangelical Free Church will have Awana registration 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church, 241 Oscar Ave. SW.
The program, which starts Sept. 25, is open to children ages 4 through grade 6. Families are welcome to learn about Awana, sign up their children and make an ice cream sundae.
Christian Women's luncheon set
BEMIDJI-- The Christian Women's luncheon is set for 1 p.m. Monday at the Peppercorn Restaurant, 1813 Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
The annual fall holiday auction will be held with Barb Siler as the auctioneer and Pastor Steve McCaughan singing the auctioneer's song. Jan McDough will speak on "What is happiness?"

Norwegian choir to perform
BEMIDJI-- The Sarpsborg Masonic Choir from Norway will perform 7:30 p.m. Sept. 25 at First Lutheran Church, 900 Bemidji Ave. N.
Accompanying the choir will be Kai Robert Johansen playing the trumpet. A freewill donation will be accepted to help fund students scholarships at the Concordia Language Villages for the study of Norwegian culture.
