Ladies night out at summer dinner set
BEMIDJI — Ladies night out with the Scott Paavola Family Singers at the Christian Women’s summer dinner meeting is set for 6 p.m. Monday at the Trinity Lutheran Church.
Mildred Kelly, of Owatonna, will round out the evening with her message on healing for the handicapped heart.
There will also be time for sharing about your favorite antique or collectible.

Hood to perform at BACM recital
BEMIDJI — The Bemidji Area Church Musicians will present Andrea Hood on the piano at noon Wednesday at the First Baptist Church, 1555 Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Hood, a resident of Bagley, has completed her first year in music at Concordia College in Moorhead.
There is no charge for the recital, but a freewill offering will be received. A luncheon will follow with the price to be announced.
Vacation bible school at NBC arranged
BEMIDJI — Northern Bible Church is sponsoring a Vacation Bible School program for the children of Bemidji from 6 to 8:15 p.m. June 24-28.
“Sonlight Express Jesus and Me” is an interactive learning experience for children ages 5 through the sixth-grade.

Vacation bible school set at FBC
BEMIDJI — First Baptist Church Bemidji invites all children ages 3 through sixth-grade to Gold Rush Vacation Bible School 8:25 to 11:35 a.m. Monday-Friday, June 21.
Children will discover the True Rock of Ages as they enjoy songs, crafts, games, goodies and dramas, according to organizers.
FBC requests children be dropped off and picked up using the North Foyer entrance.
Parents, family and friends are invited to join a picnic following VBS around 11:35 on Friday, June 21.

Evening VBS planned at First Baptist Church
BEMIDJI — Children ages 4 through sixth-grade are invited to attend Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Church, 2531 Roosevelt Road SE, 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, June 21.
This year’s theme is “Castle Kids — Choosing to Service the King!”
There will be crafts, games, songs and snacks. The public is invited to a program at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 21, followed by refreshments.
