"Ladies Nite Out" set for Monday

BEMIDJI -- The "Ladies Nite Out" Christian Women's dinner meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at Minnesota Nice Cafe, 315 Irvine Ave. NW. There will be flute music played by Roxane Kanani. Gangway to Galilee vacation bible school

BEMIDJI -- Gangway to Galilee, vacation bible school, will take place from 5:45 to 7:30 p.m. Aug 4 to 7 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 123 29th St. NE. The program is open to children from pre-kindergarten to eighth grade. There is no admission charge but pre-registration is required. A light snack will be provided and pre-K children must be toilet trained. Registration forms are available at the church.

Annual chicken dinner at Trinity in Laporte

LAPORTE -- The annual chicken dinner will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 6 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 27689 474th St. in Laporte. Everyone is invited. No reservations are needed. A free-will offering will be collected. The proceeds are given to local, state, and world wide charities.

Vacation bible school set for Puposky

PUPOSKY -- Registration for Vacation Bible School will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 5 - 7 at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church, 1214 Durand Drive in Puposky.
