Everyone invited to Bemidji MDHA meeting
The public is invited to a special meeting of the Bemidji chapter of the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association which will be held 6 p.m. June 16 at the Bemidji Trap and Skeet Club.
The Bemidji chapter has a long history of involvement with MDHA programs and policies and MDHA development director Joe Cannella would like to see that involvement continue.
Among the successes of the Bemidji chapter are sponsoring local youth for the Forkhorn Camp scholarships, purchasing firearms for the local safety classes, and providing financial support for the local National Archery in the School Program, the Beltrami County 4-H chapter and Steve Porter's live whitetail deer presentation in the area schools.
The chapter has also donated funding which has helped create winter food plots, wildlife openings and winter browse.
All MDHA members who renew their membership and anyone who becomes a new member during the meeting will be eligible to win a prize.
For more information contact Cannella at 218-327-1103 (ext. 14).
