'Evening on Broadway' set July 19

BEMIDJI - Invitations are going out this weekend for an "Evening on Broadway" with producer Fulton Gallagher at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 19 at the Hampton Inn and Suites.

There will be a cash bar starting at 6 p.m. with a 7 p.m. dinner and program start. Tickets are $50 per person and the proceeds will go to the student singers and future opera productions.

Performers will include regulars like Matthew Goinz, Mark Christensen and Jessie Fisher with a varied program of Rogers and Hammerstein songs from "The Sound of Music," contemporary musicals and larger ensemble pieces.
