Electrifying Minnesota exhibit set to open in Shevlin

SHEVLIN - A new temporary traveling exhibit called "Electrifying Minnesota" will be on display at the Shevlin History Center. The History Center in Shevlin will be open and showing the exhibit from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

The exhibit, created by The Bakken Museum with the Minnesota History Center Traveling Exhibits Program, shows how electricity has transformed the lives of Minnesotans since 1882 and how electricity was generated. Information on generating electricity in the 21st century will also be included. Admission is free. Call 785-2000 for more information.
