ELECTION 2014: White Earth Band unofficial results

WHITE EARTH -- Unofficial results have been released in the 2014 White Earth general election.

Positions on the ballot included secretary/treasurer, District 1 representative and District 2 representative.

Tara Mason defeated incumbent Robert J. Durant for secretary/treasurer with 908 votes (50.75 percent). Durant received 881 votes.

Steven “Punky” Clark came in ahead of Irene “Rene” Auginaush for the District 1 position with 231 votes (52.98 percent). Auginaush received 205 votes.

Kathy Goodwin defeated incumbent Terrance “Terry” Tibbetts in the District 2 race with 372 votes (51.67 percent). Tibbetts received 348 votes.

official results were expected to be certified Tuesday night, but have not yet been received.
