Eddie Money to play Sanford Center

Rock musician Eddie Money will hold an acoustic performance in Bemidji on Aug. 8.

Money will play the Sanford Center's ballroom as part of his "Unplug it in. . . Again" tour with local band Crosswater opening, according to a release from the center.

Money is a guitarist, saxophonist and singer-songwriter who came to fame in the late 1970s and 1980s with hits such as "Baby Hold On," "Shakin" and "Two Tickets to Paradise." He then hit the Top 10 with his song "Take Me Home Tonight" and the follow up "I Wanna Go Back" and "Walk on Water."

Tickets are $35 and $45 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Tickets can be purchased at the Sanford Center box office, Lueken's Village Foods, any Ticketmaster retail location, by phone at (800) 745-3000 or online at www.ticketmaster.com
