EAPC's entry, the University of Mary - Gary Tharaldson School of Business in Bismarck, was selected for the design award. Specific uses for the project were classrooms, an auditorium and office space for the School of Business. The project goal was to create a bold architectural design to inspire students and reaffirm the university's progressive values, establish a design aesthetic complementary to the adjacent chapel and monastery designed by iconic modernist architect Marcel Breuer, and exploit the site's hilltop location by emphasizing the sweeping views of the Missouri River valley. The two-story, 29,000 SF building and was completed in September 2008.

EAPC was also given a Merit Award for the South Dakota State University Wellness Center project in Brookings, S.D., and received the Juror's Choice Award for the University of North Dakota Choir Loft Addition at St. Thomas Aquinas Newman Center in Grand Forks.

EAPC is a consulting firm that provides architectural and engineering services to regional and national clientele. Offices are in Fargo, Grand Forks, Jamestown, Minot and Bismarck, N.D; Bemidji; and Norwich, Vt.
