Drury, Newby recognized

BEMIDJI — Northwoods Caregivers has recognized Jack Drury and Bi-County Community Action Program (BI-CAP) has recognized Steve Newby as a “Someone Special Volunteers.”

Drury is dedicated to helping with weekly transportation requests, having great care and concern for those he drives and is always willing to go the extra mile.

Newby has served on BI-CAP’s Board of Directors since 2002 and has been chairman since 2009, and he has always been dedicated and committed to building a stronger organization.

The Bemidji Pioneer, Paul Bunyan Broadcasting, Ken K. Thompson and the United Way recognize “Someone Special Volunteers” who have made significant contributions to the community.
