Drivers suffer minor injuries in Tuesday morning Beltrami County crash

Two drivers suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning on U.S. Highway 2 west of Bemidji.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol out of Thief River Falls:

William L. Grapevine, 31, of Bemidji, was driving a 2004 Honda Civic south on County Road 9 approaching the intersection with Highway 2.

Andrea L. Bessler, 21, of Lake George, was driving a 1993 Toyota Camry LE west on Highway 2.

Grapevine attempted to stop, but lost control and the vehicles collided in the intersection.

The accident occurred about 7 a.m., when the road was snow-covered.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belts and suffered minor injuries.

Both vehicles sustained severe damage.

Assisting at the scene was the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office.
