Dozens of birds die in downtown Duluth

DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — Dozens of migrating birds have died outside Minnesota Power's main office in downtown Duluth after crashing into the glass.


Bird experts tell the Duluth News Tribune the Bohemian waxwings might have become disoriented while feeding on dried berries on trees near the building.

Minnesota Power spokeswoman Amy Rutledge says it's never happened there before.
