The state lottery says a ticket sold for Wednesday night's drawing hit the jackpot of nearly $229 million. Minnesota Lottery spokeswoman Debbie Hoffmann says she should know the community where the ticket was sold later Wednesday.

Hoffman says the winner or winners have the option of taking about $123 million in cash now, otherwise the jackpot is paid over 30 years.

The winning numbers drawn Wednesday night are 11, 18, 36, 41, 46 and the Powerball is 38.
