Drivers may encounter intermittent lane closures and flagging operations for the next two to four weeks as crews continue working in the ditches and entrances to Highway 71 between Hubbard County Road 9 and Beltrami County Road 2.

The work is part of a major reconstruction of a portion of the Highway 197 and Highway 71 corridor in Bemidji which includes the construction of a new bridge over U.S. Highway 2.
