Denise Elizabeth Dahl, whose Ojibwe name is Mashkowizii Gabowiik, which means Stands Strong Woman, 53, of Cass Lake, died Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, at North Country Regional Hospital in Bemidji.
Traditional services are pending with the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.
