It completed a four win night for Bemidji which also took the C, B and JV matches.

Bemidji had few problems in the varsity match, winning 25-15, 25-16, 25-16.

"We had a few glitches here and there," said Coach Teresa Colligan," but for the most part we controlled play the entire night."

Bemidji is now 3-0 heading to Deer River Tuesday for its final warm-up prior to returning to Marshall next weekend for the Southwest State Challenge.

In its three wins Bemidji has yet to allow an opponent to score more than 20 points. Only Fergus Falls reached that level in the final game of its 3-0 loss.

Kayla Hirt led the front line with 10 kills. Kelsey Heisler added eight and Abby Hendricks and Jess Yost each had three.

Brooke Homer had 24 assists to lead the setters while Brooke Homer, Megan Wannebo and Heisler each had two aces.

Hendricks and Brooke Homer led with 14 digs while Hirt had four blocks and Hendricks three, all of Hendricks solos.

The B Team and JV also stand 3-0, the B Team winning 25-20, 25-12 and the JV 25-22, 25-13.

The freshmen are 2-0-1 with a 25-23, 22-25, 15-10 decision.

All four play at Deer River Tuesday.
