Decomposed body found in Duluth neighborhood

DULUTH -- Duluth police are investigating after human remains were found Tuesday afternoon in the city’s Lincoln Park neighborhood.

Officers got a call just after 2 p.m. about a dead body. A witness saw a decomposed body 100 yards from an intersection along a fence and brush line.

Investigators were trying to identify the body, which was taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office to rule on the cause and manner of death.
