Deborah Yvonne Marsh, 54, of Laporte, MN died Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at her home.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Friday, August 16, 2013 at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Bemidji, MN with Rev. Genelle Netland officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Hendrickson Township (Kabekona), MN under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.

Deb was born Feb. 21, 1959 in Litchfield, MN, the daughter of James and Sharlene (Larson) Quello. She was raised and educated in Atwater and graduated from Atwater High School in 1977. She graduated from Wadena Vo-Tech in 1978. She moved to Northfield, MN where she worked for the Northfield News for 2 years. She married Matthew Marsh on May 19, 1979 in Atwater, MN. They moved from Northfield to Lakeville in 1980, where she worked for the Lakeville Times for 3 years. In 1983, they moved to Bemidji where she worked for Nortech/Control Data. She graduated from Bemidji State University with a BS degree and then worked for Federated Insurance and later as a bookkeeper for Northwest Juvenile Training Center. She was the Hendrickson Township treasurer for a number of years. She was an excellent quilter, took great pride in her gardens and loved to collect antiques treasures from the past. She loved spending time at their home watching birds and wildlife with her husband and her beloved dogs Eddie and Wilson.

She is survived by: her husband Matthew of Laporte, Mother- Sharlene Quello of Atwater, MN, Brother- Tom Quello of Grove City, MN, Brother- Jaime (Brooke) Quello of Bemidji, Nephew – Shawn Quello, Nieces – Emily and Alicia Quello, Brother-In-Law Derry (Audrey) Marsh of Bemidji, Sister-In-Law Debra Larson of St. Anthony. She was preceded in death by her father James, paternal grandparents – Thomas and Marie Quello and maternal grandparents – Oliver and Adelia Larson.

Casketbearers will be Tim Koski, Saul Saucedo, Bradley Quello, Shawn Quello, Mark Quello, Bernie Folkert and Paul Nelson.
