Family friend and spokesman Daniel Zwakman says a recent X-ray revealed that Danny Hauser's tumor has shrunk significantly.

Danny and his mother initially resisted restarting chemotherapy out of a preference for alternative treatments inspired by American Indian traditions.

After leaving the state ahead of a court hearing, they returned and were ordered to restart treatments.

Zwakman says Daniel had treatments on May 28 and June 4. He says the teen is still firmly against chemotherapy.

In addition to chemotherapy treatments, Daniel has also been receiving natural treatments from his mother.
