BRAINERD - Trey Dale carded a 75 to lead the Bemidji boys golf team at Wednesday's Brainerd Invitational which was held at the par 36-36-72 Pines Golf Course.
The Lumberjacks finished ninth in the 19-team field.
Dale shot 39-36-75 to pace the Jacks while Elliot Leinen finished at 39-38-77.
Shooting 83s were Kodi Craft 941-42-83), Zach Rickers (42-41-83) and Sam Starkey (40-43-83) while Sam Bruestle finished at 42-45-87.
"Individually the kids have all played well once or twice this season and now we need to put four good rounds together at the same time," said BHS coach Seth Knudson.
"Consistency is the key. These are decent scores but we always want to strive for better. And the ultimate goal is to peak in early June during the section meet," the coach added.
