Police Report The Bemidji Police Depart-ment responded to the following calls: Ordinance Violation 10:03 a.m. Monday: A 21-year-old man was arrested on a warrant and a runaway were located while investigating an ordinance violation at 10th Street NW and Rice Avenue NW.
Drugs 11:34 a.m. Monday: Suspi-cious item located at Wal-mart, later found to be a controlled substance.
12:08 p.m. Monday: Officers found and disposed of drug paraphernalia on the 1300 block of Anne Street NW.
Animal 12:53 p.m. Monday: A 31-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant at the 2600 block of Delton Avenue NW. Officers were responding to an unlicensed dog running at large.
Property Damage 7:08 a.m. Monday: Individual reported damage to her vehicle and a theft from her garage on the 2900 block of Pine Ridge Avenue NW.12:56 p.m. Monday: Two vehicle windows were smashed on the 2800 block of Pine Ridge Avenue NW.
Theft 9:44 a.m. Monday: Officer received report of a stolen license plate on the 300 block of 23rd Street NE.11:39 a.m. Monday: Officers received report of a stolen bicycle and prescription pills on the 3900 block of Irvine Avenue NW.12:34 p.m. Monday: A theft of electronic devices was reported on the 900 block of 30th Street NW.3:31 p.m. Monday: A 19-year-old woman and a 23-year-old woman were cited for shoplifting on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive NW.
Violation Court Orders 4:33 p.m. Monday: A 21-year-old woman was arrested in violation of court conditions of release on the 3900 block of Irvine Avenue NW.
Public Nuisance 6:33 p.m. Monday: A 43-year-old man was arrested for public nuisance during a welfare check on the 200 block of Beltrami Avenue NW.
Warrant 6:54 p.m. Monday: A 56-year-old man was arrested on a warrant during a welfare check on the 300 block of Beltrami Avenue NW.
Disorderly Conduct 7:22 p.m. Monday: Officers responded to a report of a possible altercation between several children on Delton Avenue NW and 15th Street NW. Upon arrival determined no altercation but found children playing with tobacco. Children were spoken to about the issue and released to their respective par-ents/guardians.
Sheriff’s Report The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls: Traffic 5:41 a.m. Monday: A 26-year-old man was cited for speed after being clocked at 85 miles per hour, locked at 80 miles per hour on Highway 2 and Highway 89 NW in Bemidji.
Suspicious 3:21 p.m. Monday: Deputies responded to report of a female laying on railroad tracks with a young child.
Property Damage 5:24 p.m. Monday: A woman broke window to gain access into residence on 300 block of Meadow Court NE in Bemidji.
Theft 5:35 p.m. Monday: A bicycle was reported missing on the 1200 block of Little Norway Avenue SE in Bemidji.
Accident 6:26 a.m. Monday: Vehicle westbound on County Road 22 from State Highway 89 struck deer on front and right side of car.6:25 p.m. Monday: A hit and run was reported on the 6900 block of Northwoods Access NE in Bemidji. No suspects or witnesses were located.7:26 p.m. Monday: A squad vs. deer accident was re-ported on County Road 45 in Bemidji. No damage oc-curred.
DWI 10:58 p.m. Monday: A 46-year-old man was arrested for DWI on Highway 72 NE in Kelliher.
