Daily arrests, police and fire report for June 8
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
6:15 p.m. Thursday, 1800 block of Gregg Court Northwest. A motor vehicle theft was reported. The vehicle was seized when the owner’s cousin was arrested on DWI charges. The owner did not want to pursue criminal charges.
9:07 a.m. Thursday, intersection of 26th Street Northwest and Irvine Avenue Northwest. A 29-year-old man was arrested on charges of felony fifth-degree drug possession. A 35-year old woman was also arrested on fifth-degree drug possession and gross misdemeanor child neglect charges.
The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls:
9:27 a.m. Thursday, 9600 block of Peace Lane Northwest. A mailbox was damaged.
6:55 a.m. Thursday, 15300 block of Okerlund Road Southeast in Cass Lake. A man who threatened to stab his brother was removed from the residence. Both were arrested for warrants and probation violations.
2:10 a.m. Thursday, 100 block of Convenience Lane Southwest. Someone drove away without paying for gas.
The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:
2:20 p.m. Thursday, 400 block of Pershing Avenue Southeast. A burn complaint was reported.
6:34 p.m. Thursday, intersection of Cardinal Road and Old Long Lake Road Northwest. A motor vehicle crash was reported.
11:05 p.m. Thursday, 2900 block of Ridgeway Avenue Northwest. A fire alarm was activated.
