Andrews lost a heartbreaker in the Sunday noon draw. The Tom Gabower rink of Janesville, Wis., scored one in the 10th end to tie the match and then won it in the 11th with a single point to make it 6-5.

Andrews bounced back in the Sunday evening draw to defeat Stephen Dropkin of Southborough, Mass., 12-6.

The Wald rink opened with a 10-4 win over Matt Birkild of Fairbanks, Alaska, and followed with a 6-4 decision over Matthew Brown of Deerfield, Ill.

Two more men's matches are scheduled today as round-robin play continues.

The women began play on Sunday with two matches. The two Minnesota teams and one of the North Dakota teams finished the day 2-0 to lead the pack. Two more matches are on tap for the women today.
